BLUE is a dance solo about and for the colour blue. The piece was inspired by a particular room in the Meidän valintamme / Our Choices exhibition at the Art Museum of Hämeenlinna and the (mostly) blue artworks in the room. I felt a strong need to dance in the room with those artworks, to experience and express their blueness through dance. The result was a blue dance for a blue creature and a blue balloon, dancing together with one blue-grey sculpture, one red sculpture and four landscape paintings with various shades of blue.

As the piece was created for this particular space with these particular artworks, now that the temporary exhibition is over, the piece can never be performed again.
