Rituals for letting go is an ongoing project exploring the difficulty of letting go of things we hold dear. The project consist of inventing a ritual for letting go of something and documenting the process.

Rituals for letting go I (2020): letting go of the summer

For the first ritual I kept and dried all the flowers that bloomed and withered in my balcony during one summer, simply throwing them in a big bowl in my kitchen where they kept accumulating on top of each other for about four months. When the summer was irrevocably gone and it was time to let go, I photographed the flowers in the state that they were in at the time.
