Tämä ei ole tanssiteos on tanssiteos tanssiin liittyvistä määritelmistä ja odotuksista. Absurdeja ja humoristisiakin sävyjä saavassa esityksessä nähdään tanssija, joka sekä tanssii että ei tanssi: hän ehkä tanssii, on tanssivinaan, saattaa tanssia, harkitsee tanssivansa, ajattelee tanssivansa, toivoo tanssivansa, pelkää tanssia, häpeää tanssia, rakastaa tanssia. Kohti jonkinlaista vapautta hoippuvassa esityksessä nähdään tanssi, joka ryömii, haahuilee, hypähtelee, heilahtelee, räpiköi, painii, väsyy ja kompuroi. Miten ravistella turhat määritelmät yltään?

This is not a dance performance is a dance performance about definitions and expectations related to dance. With gentle absurdity and humour, the performance features a dancer who is both dancing and not dancing: she is maybe dancing, kind of dancing, considers dancing, thinks about dancing, might dance, hopes to dance, is afraid to dance, ashamed to dance, loves to dance. Staggering towards some kind of freedom, the performance presents a dance that crawls, wanders around, jumps about, swings, flounders, wrestles, tires and stumbles. How to shake off useless definitions about what dance can be?
